This series captures the essence of shoreline landscapes through a minimalist lens. Using a muted palette dominated by various blues and pale greens, these paintings distill the serene beauty of coastal environments into their most fundamental elements. The dreamlike seascapes are overlaid with my signature Ru Kiln cracked glaze technique, adding subtle textures and an unexpected cultural dimension. This unique approach marries the tranquility of coastal scenes with the rich heritage of traditional Chinese ceramics, creating a harmonious blend of East and West, ancient and contemporary.
